Timeshare Datashare: Steady Growth of Timeshare Owners
Provided by: ARDA International Foundation
August 2008
According to the latest AIF State of the Industry report prepared by
Ernst & Young, by the end of 2007, 4.7 million households owned one
or more U.S. timeshare weekly or points-equivalent intervals, which is a
7% increase from 4.4 million in 2006. Compared to the growth of the
number of resorts, the number of units and sales volume, the growth in
the number of owners is much steadier and smoother.
