Timeshare Datashare: Timeshare Owners Profile
Provided by: ARDA International Foundation
What does an aerage timeshare
owner look like? The newly released Vacation Timeshare Owners Report, 2009 Edition, gives a good snapshot. According to the report, the average
timeshare owners are 48 years old, college educated, make $92,405 a
year, and own their primary residence.
Specifically, 24 percent of timeshare owners are
between the age of 45 and 54, while another 24 percent are between the
ages of 55 and 64. The Baby Boomer generation is again the largest
segment of timeshare owners. These owners are more educated than
the U.S.population as a whole, with 43 percent reporting college as
their highest level of education and nearly one in five having graduate
school training. In addition, roughly 92 percent of timeshare-owning
households cite incomes that exceed the
U.S.average of $50,233, and 91 percent own their home.
