Application Form
Congratulations to our current ARPs and
RRPs!
The Associate Resort Professional (ARP) and Registered Resort
Professional (RRP) are the premier designations for the vacation
ownership industry. Demonstrate your knowledge and experience, as well
as commitment to the industry and the ARDA Code of Standards &
Ethics, by attaining one of these designations.
Both ARP and RRP applicants are required to be an ARDA Advantage,
Trustee, or Chairman’s League member in good standing and must
have successfully completed the AIF Qualification Test. ARPs should have a
minimum of 2 years of industry experience and 6 credits, while RRPs need
at least 5 years of experience and 10 credits.
Ways to earn credits:

Attending the ARDA Convention, Fall Conference, regional meetings,
or other pre-approved seminar or meeting

Completing an approved self-study course
-
Earning another designation or license such as CTS, real estate,
CAM, etc.

Receiving an ARDY award
-
Working in the industry for more than 2 years
-
Participating on an ARDA committee
-
Earning an educational degree from an institution of higher
education
-
Publishing an article in Developments magazine
-
Serving as an ARDA Ambassador
-
Maintaining an ARDA Advantage membership
Applications are reviewed twice yearly by the Accreditation Board,
and must be received by September 15 for the fall review or February 15
for the spring review. Accepted applicants will be notified via e-mail
and will receive a certificate of achievement and lapel pin, and they
will be listed on the ARDA Web site and in Developments
magazine.
To maintain the designation, a current ARDA membership is required,
as well as one of the following each year:

Participation on an ARDA committee

Attendance at an ARDA meeting or other ARDA-accredited
meeting

Published article in Developments magazine
